1. If you want to enjoy a great view: Marina Barrage

They have a lush green for you to pick the perfect spot & just chill. Plus, if you’re up for some kite-flying, this would be a great windy location for some kite action.

2. If you want to have your own Secret Garden: Singapore Botanic Gardens

The huge compound is filled with flowers, mini-canopies & lots of space for you to take out that mat & just take in all that green. The place is so serene, it’s great for just relaxing with a book or lazing around with some friends!

3. If you like to be right smack in the hustle-bustle of the City: Raffles Place Boulevard

Who says a picnic has to be only on grassy areas? Lay out your mat right in the middle of the city & enjoy the rush of crowds & clouds. You’ll be close to the river & the high rise buildings too!

4. If you feel like taking a leisurely walk: Henderson Waves

Linked to the Southern Ridges, the Henderson Waves is a great place to lounge after or before a leisurely walk. With plenty of spaces for you to rest, it is really an ideal spot for walk-enthusiasts. On top of that you get to enjoy overlooking everyone else down below!

5. If you want to feel the sea breeze in your hair: Pasir Ris Park

The perfect spot is when the walkway ends & there lies a little cliff.  Not only is it close to the water, it’s also away from everyone else.  Just nice for a picnic for two, if you’re feeling romantic.

There’s only 5 places here, but believe me, there are plenty of places for you to just plop yourself down & enjoy that impromptu picnic! (Like town, or an empty corner on the Padang!)
