Every birthday my girlfriends & I try to spend some time together & celebrate! Sometimes we splurge & celebrate big. Most times, we just go moderate & plan something funky, but relatively simple.
This time around, a pre-planned quiet dinner had to be replaced with something simpler. Why? Because we’re low on dough (if you get what I mean..).
Anyway, who says it’s impossible to do something special & nice without spending a lot. Make do with all that you’ve got, I say! So instead of making it public, we’re making it personalized & private.
How? DIY-ing!
What? Everything! From the menu, to the deserts, to decorations, to setting an ambience, to making sure the celebratory atmosphere is kept at a high.
Not only does this save money, the whole Birthday Dinner is cosy & personal, making it an event to remember!
I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow! In the meantime, I’ve gotta get back to preparing the deserts!
